Halfway there! Moving into the second half of this school year, I have a lot of new updates. I've been accepted to 6 colleges so far and only declined from one, (one of my safeties). What's so great about this is that I was accepted into one of my number one schools, Chapman, with a good scholarship. Because of that, I feel like I can definitely relax more and worry a little less, so I'm looking forward to this. I think my group for the capstone project is great, because we are all willing to collaborate when it comes to making creative decisions. This ties into the question of whether to develop products for profit versus the benefits of others. Many other groups didn't really want to create positive change, but rather make money, but my group is willing to make something impactful. Obviously, making profit is not just good for oneself, but also for the company or service being provided will benefit. Still, is it morally correct to do something purely for profit? I'm not entirely sure. Companies like shein, clearly harm the environment and have poor pay for workers, while nonprofits like the red cross strictly help people. I personally think nonprofits are better but maybe my opinion will change over the next few months
